Since I’m not busy enough (ha!) I decided to try out this pattern test for a local pattern designer this month. I could not pass up the opportunity to try out this *adorable* little girls dress pattern! Isn’t it so cute?!
It’s called the Rosie Posie dress, created by Bellamie Boo Couture. *It’s currently in editing, but will be available soon! The strap placement is being adjusted.
I love that you use cottons or linens for this dress, which are generally very easy to use and sew. The bodice has the cute ruching detail, which you can add trim to if you so decide. You can also use trim in place of fabric straps. The blue fabric was inherited from my mother, and the yellow fabric with blue flowers is from Joann‘s, purchased several years ago. (They always have such awesome styles and designs, I never leave empty-handed.)
This is the perfect Spring dress for girls! Especially with Easter just around the corner. If you sew, or are looking into starting out-this is a relatively easy pattern to try!
